Team Wathall launch charity bike ride
At the end of April 2012 six members of G Wathall & Son Limited's staff are planning to cycle over 400 miles from Derby to Paris in support of the Laura Centre Derby.
The Laura Centre Derby Appeal was recently launched to try and raise £150,000 to enable the charity to establish a base in the Derby area. The Laura centre was originally set up in Leicester by Gail and Harry Moore following the death of their daughter Laura at the age of 5, in January 1989. The Charity provides dedicated, highly specialist bereavement counselling and support for when a child dies or is bereaved. Over the years the charity has gained national recognition for its cutting edge approach and clinical excellence in the field of family bereavement.
The charity is now hoping to be able to offer such support to the city of Derby and its surrounding areas by establishing The Laura Centre Derby.

Please keep coming back to our web page to find out more about the cycle ride and the other fund rasing charities we are holding.
